The Blugold Marching Band provides UW-Eau Claire students with life-changing performance experiences that promote teamwork, community, and the expression of the Blugold Spirit.

Joining the BMB is the best way to be immediately surrounded by new friends and a strong support system. The band arrives on campus early, before the rest of the student population. You’ll make over 400 connections who will help them acclimate to student life.

During your time in the BMB you’ll perform at:

• Blugold Football games

• Local & regional marching band exhibitions

• Band of America exhibitions in NFL stadiums

• Stage-show at the state-of-the-art Sonnentag Event Center

• The opportunity to travel on International Performance tours

BMB students represent ~5% of the campus population, 62 Majors (80% are not studying a music-related field), and 12+ States. Any UWEC Student can join the BMB — be sure to register for the course in your CampS portal (MUSI 183) and apply for the BMB on this website.

Enrollment in the Brass, Woodwind, and Student Staff sections is open until positions are filled, so be sure to apply on this website when applications open on March 4.
